Holiday lights have a way of transforming a season. For many families, it’s the joy of pulling up to a glowing home or watching children’s faces light up when the switch is flipped. Hembree Window Cleaning, founded by Mason Hembree, helps make those moments possible—not just in December, but all year long.
Best known for window cleaning and exterior services, the company also provides pressure washing, screen repair, gutter cleaning, and even high-rise work. Over time, seasonal holiday light installations became one of their most popular offerings. As requests grew for a solution that didn’t need to be taken down each January, Mason and his team began offering permanent holiday lighting. Weather-resistant and customizable, the lights allow homeowners to celebrate every season—Christmas, the Fourth of July, or even birthdays.
But Mason’s vision goes beyond business. Having faced financial hardship with a young daughter, he knew the holidays could be tough—and from that came the Lights of Hope Project, an annual initiative that brings free holiday light installations to families in need.
The project began last year as a simple Facebook post asking for nominations. One of the first installations was for a young single mother of three who had recently moved into a new home. When the lights were finished, she walked the yard with her children, taking it all in. Her youngest suddenly shouted with pure joy, “Santa will see us this year!” For Mason, that small but powerful moment said everything. The lights weren’t just about decoration—they were about restoring hope, creating memories, and letting a family know they were seen and cared for.
Since then, the project has grown into a community-wide effort. Through partnerships with Holiday Bright Lights, Novelty Lights, and Be the Good Ones, Hembree Window Cleaning has expanded its reach to serve more families. This season, a portion of every service—5% or more from October 31 through December 25—will go directly toward Lights of Hope. For every installation, the company also pledges additional lights or funding to keep the project strong.
Community members can get involved by supporting Hembree Window Cleaning, donating directly, or nominating a family at LightsofHopeProject.com. Volunteers and local businesses are also invited to join as sponsor companies, contributing proceeds or installation labor.
For Mason and his team, it’s about more than lights—it’s about bringing joy, hope, and belonging to families who need it most. To learn more or schedule a service, visit hembreewindowcleaning.com.
