LOLLI SUTTON

Sisters Lori Potutschnig and Nicole Lacey opened their shop in 2024. With its layered, collected vibe, customers love to linger amid the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Approachable yet undeniably luxe, the shop leans into a southern-inspired sensibility with its mix of new and one-of-a-kind pieces, all of which add a bit of Charleston character to a space.

FLM: What emerging trends for Spring are you seeing in home accessories that resonate with the Lolli Sutton point of view?

LP: This spring feels richer and more expressive. We’re seeing a move toward warmer palettes, deeper color, and spaces that feel layered and well-loved rather than pared back. There’s a real appreciation for patina, vintage pieces with history, and mixing in new items that add contrast and balance. Homes are becoming more personal, less about perfection and more about telling a story through collected pieces.

NL: Spring is leaning into a more maximal, soulful look with bold color, nature-inspired tones, classic patterns, and texture everywhere. Florals feel nostalgic but not precious, and vintage pieces are being celebrated rather than hidden. Sustainability plays a significant role here, too. People want items that last, can be refreshed or reimagined, and feel meaningful rather than disposable.

FLM: Can you share the one item you think would make a great gift for a Spring occasion or celebration?

LP: A vintage vessel, like a small bowl, pitcher, or compote, paired with fresh flowers or a simple spring arrangement, makes a beautiful, meaningful gift. It’s something that can be used every day but still feels special and lasting.

NL: I love gifting something that elevates the everyday, like Sabre flatware or serving pieces. They’re practical but special, and they layer beautifully into both casual and collected homes.

&FOUND

What started in 2008 as Nicole Kofoed’s Etsy side hustle, born from her love of discovering unique antiques and vintage gems, has evolved into a stylish, must-visit destination for timeless finds. The shop is beautifully and thoughtfully curated, featuring an ever-changing, eclectic mix of distinct furnishings that blend heirloom pieces and old-world treasures with artisan-made offerings.

FLM: What is a noteworthy best seller?

NK: Danish Scandinavian Brutalist pieces from the 1970s are especially popular right now, and I’ve had some beautiful examples pass through the studio - most notably a stunning oak sideboard in the manner of Henning Kjaernulf that truly left an impression on me. I often work with designers and ship nationwide, so these pieces tend to find homes all over the country.

FLM: Can you share some tips when buying vintage? What should customers look for?

NK: Everyone has their own comfort level when it comes to incorporating vintage into their home. If it feels like uncharted territory, I always suggest starting small - cocktail glasses, ceramics, or artwork are great entry points. Once you live with these pieces and notice how they make you feel when you see or use them, it’s kind of hard not to fall in love.

When you’re ready to step up to larger pieces, brass and glass are timeless choices that tend to age beautifully, think coffee tables or consoles. With wood furniture, quality really matters, so look for solid wood and good craftsmanship, like dovetailed drawers. Some of the most interesting homes are the ones that strike a thoughtful balance between old and new. And if you ever feel unsure or need a little guidance, there are people like me who are more than happy to help.

Bluepoint Home: Owner and interior designer Samantha Kilcoyne has created a shop that brings all the design elements she loves under one roof. Juxtaposing coastal ease with timeless style, the space offers the perfect touches for a refined yet understated home. From a piece of jewelry to a beautifully styled table setting or a handcrafted chair, every item is thoughtfully chosen with an eye for both style and soul.

FLM: What is the shop known for?

SK: People come to Bluepoint Home for the way we layer home goods, art, jewelry, clothing and design inspiration all in one place. We’ve become known for our entertaining pieces — beautiful serveware, platters, and glassware — as well as our curated selection of candles, textiles, and accessories that help make a house feel like a home. Our jewelry and seasonal collections of bags and gifts are also customer favorites. Everything is chosen to feel timeless, thoughtful, and special, the kind of pieces you’ll reach for every day or give with meaning.

FLM: Aside from the Shop, you also offer design services. Can you share what kind of projects you focus on?

SK: Our interior design work ranges from full-scale home renovations or builds to furnishings, styling, and smaller transformations. We work with clients locally and also travel for larger jobs. Interiors are our focus, but together with my husband Scott through Kilcoyne Construction and Bluepoint Design, we can also handle exteriors. Everything from concept through completion — design, construction, and the finishing touches of beautiful interior design together as a team. We love projects where we can bring a client’s vision to life holistically — creating spaces that are not only beautiful but also functional and lasting. Whether it’s a complete home build or a single room reimagined, our goal is always to make it feel personal, intentional, and true to the people who live there.
