Happyly sent me on a summer exploration day to some of Franklin and Nashville’s best local spots. This kid and pup friendly day started out with grabbing a house made pastry and coffee at one of my favorite spots in town, Franklin Bakehouse. After my caffeine fix, the next stop on the adventure plan was Edwin Warner Park. We could’ve spent all day picnicking and playing in the park but decided to head to our next stop: Red Caboose Park. Even though we’ve lived in Nashville for years, we hadn’t been to Red Caboose before. After running lots of energy off and working up an appetite, we couldn’t wait for our last stop: TailGate Brewery. Plenty of outdoor seating (for furry family members) and kid-friendly food options.

Stop #1 – Franklin Bakehouse. Their outside dining allows guests to bring along their dogs.
Stop #2 – Little Harpeth River at Edwin Warner Park. This park is such a treasure with trails, greenways, playground and nature areas and of course, splashing in the creek!
Stop #3 - Red Caboose Playground. The kids had a blast on the tall slides and climbing ladders.
Stop #4 – TailGate Brewery. This local brewery is perfect for the whole family.
The Bottom Line
The Happyly app made it super easy for my family, including my dog to explore new and favorite places around town.
