Tré Mutava - Musician/Singer/Songwriter

How did you discover your love for making music?

In grade school is when I started writing songs and playing guitar. My 6th grade talent show became the platform to debut an original song in front of a live audience for the first time. Then, in high school, I joined a band for a couple of years and learned to produce music on my school MacBook. When my friends in the band graduated, I continued to make my songs and eventually had my first solo album.

Describe your musical style and inspiration.

My style is heavily influenced by bands and artists that dig deep to reveal themselves in their music. I enjoy many independent artists who have the freedom to write whatever they want in the way they want to connect with their fan base.

Why do you believe music is so important?

Music is an expressive art form that can transcend language, race, religion, and gender and connects us all. I want my music to join us in ways we didn't know possible. I want my music to shed an authentic light on topics we all think about but do not always discuss.

Jennifer Janesko - Abstract & Figurative Artist

How did you discover your love for creating?

It has been with me every moment of my life, so it was more about growing into it and realizing that I could actually create a future doing what came most natural. I was lucky to have an art teacher from another high school help me put together a portfolio, which became my path to an art scholarship for a college in Columbus Ohio.

Describe your artistic style and inspiration.

I describe my abstract art as layered memories from my travel experiences. Imagine if you were to layer transparent photos on top of each other, but shifting each one slightly. My figure work is rooted in fashion illustration. The women I paint and draw are pieced together in my imagination, they are every woman. My figures are frozen in time, capturing a moment of grief, ecstasy, loss, anger, contentment and peace.

Why do you believe art/creativity is so important?

A creative must be allowed to express themselves without restriction and without fear. The most amazing synergy, for me, is to connect my world to the viewer-a shared emotion. That’s why people should collect art, because they are drawn into the artist’s world and they can see themselves in that world.

How did you discover your love for creating?

It all began when I developed a keen interest in design and craftsmanship during my early years. I was always fascinated by the idea of transforming raw materials into functional and aesthetic pieces. The turning point came when I had the opportunity to create a custom piece of furniture for a friend. From that moment on, I knew I had found my calling.

Describe your artistic style and inspiration.

I strive to create sculptural yet functional furniture that embodies clean lines, sleek designs, and a sense of understated elegance. Nature plays a significant role in shaping my artistic vision. Architectural elements also inform my creative process. Additionally, I draw inspiration from contemporary art and sculpture.

Why do you believe art/creativity is so important?

I firmly believe that art and creativity are essential to the human experience. They have the power to transcend boundaries, evoke emotions, and inspire change. I hope that my work can inspire others to appreciate the value of creativity and design, to embrace the beauty of handcrafted objects, and to support artisans and their crafts.
