Local Boutique Dental Practice Welcomes New Patients

Providing dental care that focuses on complete health and wellness.

Oneida Park Dental Studio is the brainchild of Terry L. Brewick, DDS, a longtime resident of Denver’s Park Hill neighborhood. “I previously had a practice in the Capitol Hill area for over 30-years,” he explains. “After that practice was sold, I have been fortunate to be welcomed with open arms at my new location.”
Dr. Terry believes in taking a personal approach with his patients. “I don’t want to run people through the office like cattle,” he says. “I firmly believe in taking time to diagnose a patient’s issues and help them to understand their options.” Dr. Terry earned his degree at the University of Nebraska College of Dental Medicine. He is a fellow at the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy where he was the longest serving president. He is a past president of the Colorado Dental Association Foundation, and he was presented with an Honorary Alumni award in 2013 from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Terry has been a member of the Wellness Dentistry Network since 2016. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, the Colorado Dental Association (CDA), and the Metro Denver Dental Society. He serves as a mentor in continuing education at the Kois Center in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Terry was awarded a Top Dentist recognition through a vote of his peers by 5280 magazine. In addition to his practice and many affiliations, Dr. Terry is proud to provide altruistic services to those in need. With a grant from the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program, Dr. Terry was instrumental in starting the Howard Dental Center, dedicated to a private practice approach to providing care to HIV-positive patients and those who could not otherwise afford dental care. The Howard Dental Center became a resource for practitioner education about universal precautions, ensuring a safe environment for patients and health care providers. “I am proud of who I am, and I enjoy participating in social activism efforts promoting good causes,” says Dr. Terry. “He is pleased to have served as a chair at Project Angel Heart, a Denver-based non-profit that provides medically tailored meals to patients with severe illnesses like cancer, HIV/AIDS, and kidney disease with an aim to improving patient health and reducing medical costs.
Two of Dr. Terry’s interests are vital to his practice and his participation in the non-profit world. “I love to entertain, and design is a favorite pastime,” he notes. He created the interior of his Park Hill home and loves to host charitable and work-related events there.

Dr. Terry also designed his current office featuring a welcoming, Palm Springs vibe that calms and soothes. A beautifully neutral color palette is enhanced by nature in the form of a tree pattern on the office’s wallcoverings, and an abundance of vibrant green and blooming plants. The exam rooms feature relaxing artwork, and a lab is located in-
house. Even the practice logo was designed to reflect Dr. Terry’s passion for dentistry and the place he calls home. “Inspired by a human’s eight molars, the pattern comes together and resembles the Columbine, Colorado’s state flower,” he explains. Rick Morales-Brewick is Dr. Terry’s dental assistant, office coordinator, and manages the practice’s social media. Mandy Spanyers, a Colorado native, is the office’s manager and assists patients with all aspects of their treatment. When Dr. Terry is away from the office, you might find him in his garden cultivating an assortment of plants—or scrounging through local antique stores for a special find. He and his husband are also the proud owners of two Samoyeds, Taylor and Oakley. “We have an RV that we christened The Little Acorn, and we enjoy using it to travel to shows where our dogs compete.” “I have always had the loveliest patients,” Dr. Terry says. “I have taken care of some of them for over 40-years, but my new patients are also just delightful.”
