The Downtown Franklin Association (DFA) is proud to announce its inaugural "Local Love" event this Valentine’s Day. This special occasion is to show appreciation for the residents of Williamson County who continue to shop and dine locally in our beloved historic district.

"With the tremendous growth that has taken place downtown over the years, DFA wants to show special appreciation for the locals that continue to shop and dine here as the district grows busier," shares the DFA Managing Director, Heidi Hood. "It's the support of the locals that shaped this district into the destination it is today, and the merchants collectively have rallied to thank them for this support and continue to offer them a great experience."

As charming and iconic as it has become, historic downtown Franklin was not always the destination it is today.  Since its founding in 1984, the Downtown Franklin Association (DFA) has spearheaded the revitalization of Franklin’s historic downtown core. Working in partnership with downtown property owners, business owners, preservationists, city and county government, and the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County, TN – the Downtown Franklin Association has helped create one of the nation’s Main Street success stories.

Now, Downtown Franklin boasts an award-winning Main Street, a stunning collection of Victorian buildings and a host of accolades. It continues to earn national recognition as an authentic, eclectic place that offers something for everyone in an atmosphere that reminds locals and visitors alike of a simpler time in our history – a place where community matters.

"This Main Street success story would not have been possible without the local stakeholders that sacrificed, donated, volunteered, and advocated for its intentional economic growth and development while preserving its historic charm.  We hope the residents of Williamson County will feel the warmth and appreciation the merchants have for them by enjoying a special experience downtown this coming Valentine's Day," states Heidi Hood.

Williamson County residents can show their ID at checkout (designated locations only) on Valentine's Day to receive showers of love from the local small businesses listed below that appreciate them so much.
