Restaurant Hot Spots to Try this Summer

1. Frazier Five and Dime

A casual fine dining and elevated neighborhood bar experience, nostalgic to the Northshore, for Chattanooga's next generation. Frazier Five & Dime offers a unique spin on high end, yet fun cuisine and cocktails that make fine dining feel like home. Provisions provided by Chef Reed Trimble, Sous Chef Tommy Zurawsky, and Pastry Chef Dane Frazier.

3. Calliope at Flora De Mel

Calliope Restaurant, a place where Chef Khaled Albanna brings flavors from his childhood in Amman, Jordan to Chattanooga, Tennessee. Khaled’s southern influences combined with his unique Levantine cooking style delivers the best of both worlds. Cooking with open fire and coals bring the Levant culture and traditions to light. Calliope is the Restaurant-In-Residence at Flora de Mel, the area's first meadery.

Taqueria Jalisco started in 2005 in a small red food truck on the Southside of Chattanooga. The Lead Staff for Taqueria Jalisco include owner Jorge Parra and Executive Chef Maria Parra.

5. State of Confusion

Rooted and revived in the heart of the Southside, our passion for authentic, made from scratch cooking is our reason for being at State of Confusion. We traveled to remote regions, learned from the locals, and crafted a menu we feel shares our incredible experience and commitment to serving genuine cultural cuisine. From fresh Peruvian ceviche bowls to wood-fire dishes prepared on traditional Argentine grills, State of Confusion brings Chattanooga a flavorful and fun setting to savor and enjoy delicious food.
