Luckily, Freshii (6925 Orchard Lake Rd) is local to residents in West Bloomfield and surrounding areas, and there to fill your bowl, burrito, salad, wrap, soup, smoothie and/or juice craving seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Two popular dishes include Freshii’s Coconut Chia Pudding and the Spicy Lemongrass Soup. The pudding is the perfect healthy grab-and-go item whether you’re looking for a quick morning breakfast, snack or dessert. Also a fan favorite, the soup not only fills you up but will clear your sinuses at the same time; additionally, if you’re a vegetarian, you can ask for it veggie-broth style!

Coconut Chia Pudding

  • Coconut milk

  • Honey

  • Chia seeds

  1. Whisk together coconut milk with honey, water and chia seeds then refrigerate overnight.

  2. Once the pudding has thickened, portion out servings and top with your favorite fruits! 

Spicy Lemongrass Soup

  • Rice noodles

  • Tomato

  • Mushroom

  • Carrot

  • Cabbage

  • Cilantro

  • Spicy lemongrass broth (see below)

  1. To build the soup, add diced tomatoes, steamed mushrooms, purple cabbage, carrots and cilantro to blanched rice noodles.

  2. For the broth, add lemongrass puree, minced garlic, sweet chili sauce, tamari, sesame oil and sriracha to chicken stock.
