A Family Tradition of Christmas Candy Making, Passed Down Through the Generations

Ingredients

·         1 Stick of margarine or butter

·         1 Pound of powdered sugar

·         1 Can Eagle Brand Milk

·         4 Cups of pecan pieces

·         7oz of Angel Flake coconut

·         1tsp of vanilla

·         2 (12oz) bag of semi sweet chocolate chips

·         1 Box of Gulf Wax (household paraffin wax)

Step1. Using a Kitchenaid-style mixer, combine butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk. Then add nuts and coconut.

Step 2. Chill mixture for 3 hours. Scoop into small balls and chill for 1 additional hour.

Step 3. Roll balls in melted chocolate chips and paraffin. Allow to cool on wax paper, creating a hardened candy coating.
