Love in the Details

From timeless classics to contemporary designs, discover the styles, settings, and details that make a ring uniquely yours

Whether you're celebrating a new engagement, an anniversary, or a new chapter together, today's rings are as unique as the stories they represent. While some are drawn to classic cuts, others embrace bold designs, unique settings, and details that reflect their personal style.

At Kennedy's Custom Jewelers, couples can explore a wide array of styles while also working with the team to create one-of-a-kind custom rings designed to tell their special story.

“Jewelry is so much more than just diamonds and gold,” second-generation jeweler, Trisha Kennedy-Thompson shared. “It often signifies some of life’s most precious moments, and there is nothing better than being able to be a part of those moments with our customers.”

With more than 43 years of experience serving the Kansas City area, Kennedy's continues to provide exceptional service. With in-house custom design, estate jewelry, bridal collections, jewelry and watch repair, and an onsite certified gemologist, the team is there to guide couples through every step of the process to finding a ring that is uniquely their own.

While contemporary settings and vintage-inspired details remain popular, Trisha mentioned that yellow gold is making a strong comeback. Marquise cut diamonds are also becoming quite popular.

For those beginning to search for their perfect ring, Trisha encourages couples to explore different styles. “Start by looking online to figure out what you like, then come in to try on different metal colors and ring styles. You will never know what really looks good on you until you see it on your hand.”

Whether you're choosing a ring for the first time or looking for something new, the right ring is one that feels personal to you and your story.
