Love Where You Live

A Vibrant Tapestry of Suburban Living

The cluster of Allen, Fairview, Lucas, and Parker paints a picturesque portrait of suburban allure in Collin County. Boasting A+ public schools, convenient proximity to major job hubs, extensive recreational facilities, and a thriving arts scene, this region has become a magnet for Texas newcomers. Melanie Brigante, founder and real estate broker of Delahn Realty, planted her roots in Allen over 27 years ago, drawn by the exceptional schools and the sprawling network of trails and parks. Her success in real estate hinges on being the "Trusted Real Estate Advisor," guiding clients through various life transitions, from their initial home purchase to subsequent upsizing, investing, and downsizing endeavors.

Having experienced the offerings of both Allen ISD and Lovejoy ISD with her own children, Melanie deeply understands the value each district brings to families. When asked her favorite aspect of living in the Allen area, Melanie responded, “My grandchildren and I love visiting the local parks and walking trails. We’ve begun a YouTube series highlighting our favorite parks." Some of their favorites include the Watters Creek Loop, Cottonwood Creek South, Bethany Lake, and the Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve.

Buyers are flocking to Allen because, as Melanie shares, "The city boasts top-notch schools, a family-friendly atmosphere and numerous parks. Allen's low crime rate, well-maintained neighborhoods and diverse community contribute to a high quality of life. The city's retail and dining options provide entertainment and shopping. With a strong sense of community and proximity to Dallas, Allen offers a balanced and appealing lifestyle for residents."

According to Melanie, a standout feature of the Allen, Fairview, Lucas, and Parker area is its diverse housing options. Catering to first-time homebuyers, seasoned homeowners seeking upgrades and retirees looking for specialized communities, the housing market remains robust.

When asked about the state of the local real estate market, Melanie said, ”From condos to mansions, the Allen real estate market is solid. While marketing times have increased, home prices remain stable with many submarkets experiencing continued appreciation. We love this area and hope to continue serving its residents for many years to come. Our goal is to support our clients as they work toward Building wealth through Home Ownership and Strategic Real Estate Investing."
