To Make the Palate Swoon

RASPBERRY CREAM CHEESE DESSERT

INGREDIENTS

CRUST:

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs, crushed

  • 4 Tablespoons butter, melted

  • 2 Tablespoons sugar

FILLING:

  • 12 ounces cream cheese, softened

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries

  • OPTIONAL: Whipped cream & additional raspberries

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 375° degrees. Spray bottom of 8x8 or 9x9 inch pan with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.

  2. Mix together graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into bottom of pan. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until edges are lightly browned. Cool completely.

  3. With electric mixer beat softened cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract, sugar, and lemon juice, mix well. Set aside.

  4. In separate bowl beat whipping cream with electric mixer until soft peaks form. Gently fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture.

  5. In small bowl, add raspberries and mash. Gently fold the mashed berries into the cream cheese mixture. If the raspberries are not sweet add some sugar or raspberry jam to sweeten.

  6. Fold whipped cream into the raspberry cream cheese mixture.

  7. Pour filling on top of crust. Refrigerate a minimum of 4 hours.

  8. Optional: Top with whipped cream & additional raspberries.

One of the best desserts ever

Ingredients:

Crust:

1/2 cup butter, soft (margarine works very well)

3 teaspoons sugar

1 cup flour

1 cup pecans, coarsely chopped

 

Filling:

8 ounces cream cheese, soft

1 cup powdered sugar

2 cups whipped cream

 

Topping

1 (106 g) package chocolate instant pudding, 4 serving size

1 (106 g) package instant vanilla pudding, 4 serving size

2 cups milk

1 1/2 cups whipped cream

1 chocolate bar, grated

 

Directions :

Beat together the butter and sugar. Blend in flour, then stir in the chopped pecans.

Press mixture into a 9 x 13 pan. Bake for 25 minutes at 350*. Cool.

Combine cream cheese, and icing sugar. Add 2 cups whipped cream.

Pour this mixture over the crust.

Combine both pudding mixes with the milk. Pour over cheese mixture.

Ice with 1-1/2 cups whipped cream and sprinkle with grated chocolate.

Chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
