The background of owner and general manager Rose Edwards was in marketing for a Fortune 500 company before she began her career as a designer. The creative aspects of kitchen and bath design drew her toward the industry. After eight years of study and practical experience, Rose began her company, Towne & Country Design Inc. Rose is always perfecting her craft; in recent years, her kitchens have been selected for the “Great Kitchens of Orange County” tour benefiting CHOC Children’s Hospital.
Rose and her design assistant, Renee Malkemus, walk each client through the planning phase of remodeling. They ensure that the design and selection of fixtures are of the greatest satisfaction to the homeowner, right down to the absence of dangerous emissions that can be present in hardwood products. Their cabinetry is manufactured by American companies who are certified by the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturing Association (KCMA) who must prove yearly they are using sustainable practices and products. Towne & Country is serious about reducing the environmental and health impact of new furnishings in the home, a significant effort that can really make a difference to your health.
Their cabinetry is known for beautiful, premium solid wood doors and hand-rubbed finishes. The smooth gliding motion of soft-close drawers are a must-have. As a member of the Main Street Merchants’ Association, Rose Edwards is active in the community attending and sponsoring events and organizations such as Holiday on Main Street, Celebrate Yorba Linda, Pet Expos and the Nixon Library. Now, as downtown Yorba Linda is enjoying a face-lift and revival, Towne & Country Design is steadfastly uplifting the homes that surround it.
