McKendrick's Steak House has been in business since 1995 and is known for its superior customer service, memorable environment, and outstanding food.
Independently owned by Doug and Claudia McKendrick for the past 27 years, the atmosphere at the restaurant is formal but not stuffy. White tablecloths, low candles, and sparkling servingware create an atmosphere that invites a celebration at the table - even if it's only a casual lunch.
Staff are loyal to their employers as well as the regular customer, often having been part of the family since the original decade, working together like a finely tuned machine. Customers know the staff will take care of them. Families have dined for events with their children and after years of tradition, the children are now bringing their own families in to celebrate. McKendrick's has that feel of an exclusive club, but everyone is made to feel welcome and invited to dine. The menu might be at a premium cost, but you will always be sure to receive premium service. For a pre-dinner cocktail, their signature McKendrick's Manhattan is a nice classic, not to be outshined by the new favorite of many customers, the espresso martini.
McKendrick’s has an extensive wine list composed of many well-known wines, as well as many lesser-known vintages. Consequently, staff training is essential to sales. Staff training and tastings are continual at the restaurant. Experiencing little staff turnover and constant education, management is confident the wait staff has the knowledge to aid guests while making wine selections. McKendrick’s is fortunate to have developed strong working relationships with the local distributors, winemakers, and cellar masters throughout the country. They have enjoyed the continual benefits of obtaining highly allocated wines. The rarer wines are purchased quickly. Changing the list to reflect current vintages, estate designations, and the end of an allocation is easily and consistently done.

The Abacus is a cool bottle of wine. It's made by ZD. The current bottle of Abacus is a blend of 29 vintages of ZD's Reserve Cabernet. Its flavor profile is an intense, full-bodied cabernet with blackberry and plum.
William Seylem is an iconic pinot noir producer, arguably one of the best.
Chateau Palmer is a third growth Bordeaux from Margaux, it is elegant and refined.
