When did you begin acting?
Ever since I was young, I’ve been singing songs and doing little fun dances. But I really started acting when I was around 4-years-old, when I did “The Secret Garden” with a small company. Then I really started getting into it as I got a little older. I did the "Wizard of Oz" and "Willy Wonka" when I
was 6 and then started doing more after that. I’m 12 now.

What was your most recent play?
I did “White Christmas” with Pull-Tight in the winter. Then I was going to be in “Peter and the Starcatchers” at Pull-Tight in June, but that was cancelled because all the quarantine happened. I do a lot of shows with Off The Square Theatre Company as well and we were going to do "Willy
Wonka." So I was really disappointed. I’m really hoping I can find some play or movie to do this year.

What did you love about playing Helen Keller in “The Miracle Worker”?
Normally for most plays you have to use dialog to tell your personality and how you’re feeling, but playing Helen Keller you didn’t get to say anything. You show with your body and expressions, while still being a little mystified. I would have to put in extra effort to show everyone how I was feeling through my body language instead of through my words.

How often did you rehearse?
We rehearsed every evening Monday through Friday. It was really tiring but still super fun.

What is special about the Pull-Tight theater in Franklin?
I did my first production at Pull-Tight when I was 9-years-old. I was Tiny Tim in “Scrooge.” I got to do that with my dad and sister. It’s a theater, but like a family. When you first go there, you’re thinking everyone already knows each other so I’ll be like a new person, but with Pull-Tight everyone is
so friendly and you go and just fit right in, no matter what.

Who is your idol?
Definitely Audrey Hepburn. I watch all her movies. Even though I do acting in musicals and stuff, I’ve done a few commercials and I really want to do movies.

What is your dream role?
When I was young, I always wanted to play Matilda. Now that I’m a little older, I would really want to be Little Red Riding Hood in “Into the Woods” or Mary Lennox in “The Secret Garden.”

What are your favorite activities to do during quarantine?
Me and my friends in the neighborhood have been making little movies on iMovies, like robber movies. And I’ve been writing a lot. I like to write old-fashioned stories like about World War II. That’s what I’m working on right now.
