KCLM: What inspired you to start your journey as a social media influencer?
Heather: As a transplant to St. Louis, I wanted to inspire other moms to get out and explore this wonderful city. My goal was to connect with the community and showcase the amazing experiences and hidden gems that St. Louis has to offer. I share tips, experiences, and moments that highlight challenges and triumphs.
KCLM: What is the most rewarding part of being a mom influencer?
Heather: Connecting with and supporting other moms on their journeys has been incredibly fulfilling. Being able to inspire and uplift others, and building a community where we share experiences and celebrate milestones together, brings me so much joy. I hope to encourage other moms to embrace adventure.
KCLM: What are the challenges you face?
Heather: One of the biggest challenges is the constant comparison that comes with seeing how other moms are doing things online. It can be tough not to question my own methods and decisions when I’m bombarded with curated images of perfection. I strive to stay authentic and remind myself that everyone’s journey is unique, but the pressure to measure up can still be a struggle.
KCLM: How do you ensure your kids’ privacy and safety online?
Heather: I prioritize my children’s privacy and safety by avoiding posting stories in real-time. Instead, I wait until we have left locations before sharing our experiences online. This approach helps protect them and ensures we can enjoy our outings without concerns about immediate online exposure.
KCLM: How do you involve your kids in your content creation process?
Heather: They love joining me in exploring new places—whether it’s parks, restaurants, or other venues—which they enjoy discovering alongside me.
KCLM: What are your favorite family activities to share with your followers?
Heather: I love sharing our adventures exploring new restaurants, discovering great parks, and experiencing anything local to St. Louis.
KCLM: Who are some of your favorite moms to follow on Instagram?
Heather: I love following Allison Field because she’s hilarious and keeps it real. I also admire Alaina Hinkle for her healthy recipes. Both are local Missouri moms, which makes them more relatable and inspiring to me.

Heather: Remember, social media often showcases the highlights of people’s lives. It’s important not to compare your everyday reality to someone else’s curated posts. Focus on what truly matters to you and your family.
