Will Carter, a Houston native, got his start in the country music scene at a very young age. Inspired by Mark Chesnutt, John Michael Montgomery, Garth Brooks and Diamond Rio among others, he made his debut at age three at the Sealy Fantasy of Lights Festival, taking first prize in a talent contest at age nine and began picking up gigs at fairs, festivals and parties beginning at age eleven.
He continued to write music and perform, but eventually decided to go to college and pursue a degree from Texas A&M. The stage kept calling however, and Carter has been actively touring playing between 150-200 per year ever since. Now, twice nominated for the Texas Country Music Association Male Artist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year, he shows no signs of slowing down.
Newly married, you can find Carter with wife Lauren and his daughter Kylee, but more than likely you will find him at a honky-tonk with guitar in hand playing his latest single.
