Some of you have probably wondered what kind of crazy person decided to launch a high end community magazine during a pandemic… this guy!
Hi, friends, my name is Matt Coffel, and I am the owner and publisher of Arvada Lifestyle Magazine. First, let me tell you a little about myself. In my free time, I love to play volleyball and softball and kickball. I enjoy snowboarding and pretty much anything that is outside. I am 46 years old and hail from the land of the Hoosiers, aka Indiana. Yes, there is more than corn in Indiana. Not much, but a little more. I grew up in a small town of around 12,000 people in Northeast Indiana.
There with my amazingly beautiful and caring mother Linda, I somehow made it to adulthood. I am very lucky to say that she now lives in Denver and runs the Arvada Lifestyle Hospitality Team! I am also the proud father to an entrepreneur son, Cody. Hopefully one day soon he will have a magazine of his own amongst his other ventures: real estate, day trading, crypto currencies, online raffles, and on and on. I am so proud!
I went to a small Christian school and then on to Indiana University. After school, I started with a marketing and advertising agency where I quickly moved up the ranks from the new sales guy to the National Sales Director. My mentor and friend, Jim McFarland guided me for well over a decade. Thank you, sir. I owe you so much.
The most important thing I want you to know is, the why. I launched Arvada Lifestyle to actually serve a purpose. I want to bring members of the community and local businesses together. I want to get back to the times when things were relational not transactional. Additionally, I want to inform and entertain and educate.
I am so grateful and thankful for you allowing me to come into your homes and into your lives. It has been a long year, but here we grow, together.
Always in Your Debt,
Matt Coffel
