Michelle Ernst has always had a passion for interior design. Although she followed her father’s advice and got a different degree, she has enjoyed design since she was young enough to remember. She was Director of Marketing and Business Development in a large architectural and interior design firm in Houston prior to moving to Boerne.

Michelle met Raymond Lunsford after he purchased the Dienger Building in 2014. They became partners and she began the Dienger Project. The remodel was perfect for her love of style and design and she created the look and feel of The Dienger Trading Company as it is today. Her favorite part of the project was the event venue upstairs. She created the cozy areas in the Bistro and upgraded the clothing lines in the Boutique. Michelle is the sole buyer for the Boutique and creative director for the business among many other roles.

The addition of the beautiful styling of furniture in the Boutique has initiated many inquiries from customers late last year about her design services. She’s been assisting clients in small projects such as decorating rooms and creating better flow within the rooms of their homes. She hasn’t incorporated full-time clients into her busy schedule but she now offering the full spectrum of design from start to finish.

Eventually ME Designs will be under The Dienger Trading Company umbrella. She is offering only residential services now; however, Michelle has received requests for commercial space design and branding that will become part of her offerings by Summer 2020. She does have a history of brand marketing and public relations.

Michelle and her husband Paul have two children, Eleanor (4) and Ford (18 months). Michelle serves on the Boerne Convention & Visitors Bureau Advisory Board, Art Al Fresco Committee and most recently Child Legacy International Advisory Board.
