What began as a hobby of capturing special moments with her own family has grown into a passion project for Jess Perry. “It’s wonderful to have a nice picture to remember all the special things of life because we think we will never forget that moment, but then we do,” she shares.
Through Jess Perry Life in Photos, Jess specializes in preserving life’s key milestones for couples, families, and individuals as well as helping business owners share their passion through branding. “I love capturing those different chapters and the in-between moments,” she says.
Jess especially enjoys spotlighting beautiful photos of women, specifically moments shared by a mother with her children. “Moms are often behind the camera and get shortchanged when it comes to having flattering photos of themselves,” she shares. “It's fun for moms to be included and be seen laughing and cuddling her babies.”
Her ability to put people at ease allows Jess to capture unscripted moments, showing the heart and passion behind whoever she is photographing. “Getting ready for the photos is the hardest part,” she says. “Once that part is done, we’re here to have fun and I’m able to focus on delivering beautiful photos.”
