More Space Place’s closets are specifically designed to its customers' needs. “We go out to the home,” says More Space Place’s Bob Barthman. “At no cost, we measure the windows, the doors, the space we are designing for. Then we go back to the showroom, put the information into our design program, and give the customer a 3D picture of what their closet will look like. Our showrooms are in Sarasota, Bradenton and Port Charlotte, our warehouse is in Sarasota and the factory is in Largo. We are truly a local company.”
“In building our closets, we offer a contemporary, three-quarter inch laminate,” says Bob. “We also build in maple and other fine woods. Whatever the customer would like, we strive to satisfy those needs with clean, modern, stylish designs. We recently designed a room around a Murphy bed in which they also wanted a desktop. We discussed the project with the client, offered a wrap around desktop in the room in a cutting-edge design, and crafted everything custom for them. They were so happy with what they had when we were finished.”
“We are superb at maximizing space,” Bob explains. “That’s truly what we do. We are also great with color schemes and modern design. We recently built a custom entertainment center to feature a large screen TV and two Ottomans that were specially made. We made a cubby for the Ottomans, as well as cubbies for the customer’s art pieces. The back of the entertainment center we painted a high gloss navy blue to match their view of Sarasota Bay. It’s gorgeous and compliments the setting on the water.”
