We share our gifts, volunteer and support a cause that means something special to us, building community around us and fostering purpose.
Meet High Museum of Art patron, John Fenton of Buckhead.
Why I give: I have always had an appreciation for the visual arts and have artistic people in my family. I enjoy supporting the arts because of this and the plethora of special events the High’s team puts on.
Docent-led HIGHlights tours, workshops, mindfulness experiences, HIGH Frequency Fridays, jazz, educational talks, art context conversations, studio classes and of course the annual wine auction keep us engaged.
A few of my favorite places at the High are the Taylor Lobby; it’s a great welcoming and reception space. The special exhibition galleries hold so many great exhibitions and have hosted some of the art world's greats. The Greene Family Learning Galleries is where I take my grandkids when visiting.
We applaud John for making philanthropy a priority.
