Mountain Views Make Everything Better

The opportunity to immerse yourself in quiet luxury is only a short drive away.

There are many reasons to visit Lucille's Mountaintop Inn & Spa. Let's start with the unbelievably breathtaking views. No longer a "best kept secret," the Inn and Spa appeals to those who enjoy luxuries found in places like Lucille's - a boutique bed and breakfast inn owned and operated by an amazing visionary. April James, having traveled and enjoyed beautiful luxury inns and chateaus in different parts of the world, is proven exceptional at creating meaningful, memorable experiences for her guests.

If you want to get away and feel like you've traveled to another world - peaceful, comfortable, cozy and beautiful - then Lucille's Mountaintop Inn & Spa is the perfect place. Located in the North Georgia Mountains, the Inn sits overlooking the pristine Blue Ridge Mountains and scenic Sautee Valley. April James took ownership of the Inn and immediately connected with the local community. A proud supporter of local businesses, April buys local honey, coffee, sausage, and many other locally grown foods and wine to serve at the Inn. She purchases and showcases local art, and even the chocolates that are placed on the pillows are made locally.

Built twenty years ago, Lucille's Mountaintop Inn & Spa continues to exceed guest's expectations. Guests rest easy in one of fourteen luxury rooms - beautifully appointed with designer touches, organic bath amenities, plush linens and private baths. The newest suite offers a very private escape - an outdoor shower, a tub that opens to the outside, heated floors, and a full kitchen and living room. The well-manicured grounds and amenities create the perfect setting to enjoy everything from spectacular mountain views to relaxing spa treatments, and every special "add-on" in between - which are listed on Lucille's website. If you want a dozen roses, champagne upon arrival or cheese and wine in your room, or perhaps s'mores by the fire, the incredibly accommodating staff will happily work with you.

The Spa at Lucille's is located on the property next to the Inn. Plan to relax and unwind as any one of their signature services and spa packages can help to renew your spirit. With a Two-Hour Bliss package or one of their other restorative body treatments, you can bring balance back into your life. It would not be uncommon to want to bring a piece of Lucille's Mountaintop Inn & Spa home with you. Speak with any staff member about their luxury retail options.

Cherry Drop and Supernova lights - reminiscent of a beautiful botanical garden - make for a lovely and romantic atmosphere in the evenings. Breakfast at the Inn is absolutely delicious. The main chef is local and has been with Lucille's for six years. Everyone loves Chef Jason's creative culinary fare - fresh baked breads and pastries, exceptional egg dishes and refreshing fruits are served in the dining room overlooking the mountains and Sautee Valley.

April James looked at places all over the country before landing and settling in Georgia. She discovered the perfect location for special occasions - marriage proposals, weddings, elopements, anniversaries, birthdays, girl's weekends, romantic getaways, spa escapes, and more. People visit Lucille's from all over the South and many from as far north as you can imagine. April's desire is for "every guest to experience the restoration of a peaceful and relaxing retreat, so they can have the best small Inn experience of their life, bar none."

There are many activities and attractions nearby - waterfall hikes, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, tubing, fly fishing, kayaking, mountain biking, golf and zip lining. Local wineries offer award-winning wines and tastings, and the charming village of Sautee is filled with quaint little shops. If the art scene is more your style, then the museum and art galleries are worth visiting. The dining options are wonderful and many are farm to table. Once you've had your full, consider a romantic carriage ride to round out the day.

You don't have to be a guest at the Inn to enjoy services at The Spa, but you do need a reservation to stay at the Inn. Nightly room rates include a hearty full breakfast for two, evening dessert, free Wi-Fi and all amenities. Lucille's is located at 964 Rabun Road in Sautee Nacoochee, and the number to call is 706-878-5055. You can visit lucillesmountaintopinn.com to explore the many creative options for making your getaway or special occasion a memorable one. April and her amazing staff look forward to meeting you.
