Move Better, Live Stronger

How Elevated Sport & Spine Redefines Chiropractic Care

For Dr. Taylor Wolf, owner of Elevated Sport & Spine in Millcreek, chiropractic care is about more than quick fixes. It’s about longevity, performance, and personalization. A lifelong athlete and former college football player, Wolf was introduced to chiropractic care as a teenager. “I was a three-sport varsity athlete as a freshman, which meant I was getting banged up a lot,” he recalled. “My brother was in chiropractic school and recommended I go see someone. I just fell in love with the atmosphere of the office.”

That early experience planted a seed. He pursued pre-med in college, worked as an EMT, and shadowed different types of providers. But it was the energy of private practice—and the desire to help people move better—that ultimately led him to chiropractic school.

After graduating early, Wolf moved to Park City to work as a ski instructor and fell in love with the mountains. “I knew I wanted to end up out West,” he said. When it came time to find an internship, he landed in Salt Lake—but found the traditional, high-volume chiropractic model lacking. “I felt like I could see some gaps. Adjustments are great, but I knew I wanted to do more than just crack backs all day.”

Wolf began exploring additional certifications—everything from the Titleist Performance Institute to dynamic neuromuscular stabilization. “Every time I thought about who my perfect patient was, I imagined myself in the future,” he said. “I want to ski until the day I die. I want to be 50 years old and still outdrive my son-in-law on the golf course.”

That mindset shaped the philosophy behind Elevated Sport & Spine: helping people of all abilities stay active and do what they love for as long as possible. “It’s about getting to the root cause of pain,” Wolf explained. “For the moms I see, their sport might be picking up a two-year-old every day. For someone else, it’s hitting a golf ball 300 yards. Our job is to understand those goals and create a clear care plan to help get there.”

Unlike typical chiropractic or PT clinics where patients might only see a provider for 15–20 minutes, Wolf spends a full hour one-on-one with every patient. “That level of individualization is hard to recreate,” he said. “No two hip patients need the same thing. A cookie-cutter plan isn’t going to work.”

Operating out of Apex Golf, Wolf’s practice blends seamlessly with a performance environment. “We’ve got my rehab room, three full-service hitting bays, and PGA-certified coaches,” he shared. “If we fix something in the treatment room, we want to make sure we can reproduce it in your swing. That’s how we prevent flare-ups on hole 15.”

He’s also launching two new initiatives this fall: Bogey Free Bodies, a free monthly golf-centric workshop at Apex, and a 12-week prehab program to prepare for ski season, developed in partnership with a personal trainer. “The idea is to get the body in an efficient, powerful position before strengthening on top of it,” Wolf said. “So when December rolls around, you’re ready to go.”

Ultimately, Wolf believes movement is medicine—and that small habits have big payoffs. “Sitting is the cigarette of our generation,” he said. “Our bodies were designed to do cool things with cool people. The more you move, the longer you can do the things you love.”

Whether you’re a golfer, a parent, or just someone trying to live pain-free, Elevated Sport & Spine offers more than treatment, it offers a strategy for a stronger, healthier you.
