Sipping specialty craft cocktails at Relic On State elicits a unique level of comfort and hospitality among the ambiance of the historic, nearly 300-year-old Thornton House at 101 South State St. For this year's Valentine's Day celebrations, Relic mixologist Simone Pate is serving up one of her favorite concoctions with fanciful flair. She kindly shares the recipe here with Newtown City Lifestyle readers.
Fun Fact: Crème de violette liqueur gets its flavor from violet flowers, with a taste profile and aroma reminiscent of violet candies popular in the early-to-mid 20th century.
