You Will Love The Music Venues In Boerne

On July 21, Live at the Library presents a Buddy Holly tribute in the beautiful amphitheater at the Patrick Heath Public Library in Boerne. There is a break during August but the concerts will continue on September 15. You can expect to see a variety of musicians at these concerts held on the third Thursdays. ci.boerne.tx.us/197/Library

Throughout the summer the Cibolo Center for Conservation hosts Moondance concerts on the Saturday closest to the full moon cycle. The lineup for the rest of the summer includes Dirty Rotten Swing band on July 24; on August 21 you can enjoy Big Cedar Fever from Austin; Blake Torrey goes to the stage on September 18; and October 23 features longtime favorite The Lost Mule Band. cibolo.org

The Dog & Pony Grill has created a beautiful backyard venue among the oak trees, complete with a stage for performances. There are plenty of picnic tables to sit and enjoy the great food, beverages and music! Performances for smaller groups are held on the deck under the fans – always good for those very hot Texas nights! Performances start at 7:00 p.m. most days. The lineup includes many area favorites: July 1 Texas Moon Duo; July 2 Season Ammons Band; July 8 Katrina Cain; July 9 Country Boys Union; July 15 The 501s with Derek Badillo; July 16 Derringer Band; July 23 Kathryn Legendre and Band; July 30 Chuck Wimer Band; and August 5 Anthony Garcia & Megan Berson. dogandponygrill.com

The Dodging Duck Brewhaus will host the following line up in its front yard: Colleen Miller on July 18; The Mulberries on July 5, 12, 19 and 26; Grace Frey on July 6, 13, 20 and 27; The Traveling Mulberries on July 7, 14, 21, and 28; Scott Hammock on July 2; The Sonic Waves on July 9; The Native Texans on July 16; Faith Jacobs on July 1, 15, 22, and 29.  There will also be live music on July 8, 23 and 30. dodgingduck.com

Other venues in Boerne that offer live music are 259 Brantley's Bistro with an outdoor area just behind the restaurant with an outdoor bar. Tusculum Brewing Company features live music in the back of the building with a bar in the brewing room. Richter Boerne features solo guitarists in the area outside the Cork & Keg that can be enjoyed from the breezeway. Cibolo Creek Brewing has an outdoor venue, complete with picnic tables and a stage. Tapatio Springs has live music on weekends on its wonderful patio with an outdoor bar.
