My business partner Susie and I run this place together. Four years ago, we moved the store from Kirkwood to Glendale, my hometown. Our store is an eclectic gift and home decor store. We offer many locally produced products, but we also provide creative and unusual items. Our product selection is always changing, but these are some of my favorite things in the store right now.

Kylee Makes is a local artist that creates jewelry from polymer clay. She started crafting the items in 2020 and then decided to stay home with her son and pursue the business full-time.

Melinda Mitter Borman is the creator of Mitter’s Mittens. This local crafter upcycles thrifted sweaters to make beautiful warm mittens available in women’s, men’s, and kids’ sizes. Perfect for any frosty day.

Joy Stinger owns Stinger’s Honey. Can you believe her last name is Stinger and she keeps bees? She makes this excellent honey from Linden trees, the best blossoms for delicious honey. It tastes great and has all the health benefits because it’s local honey.

Old Ways Soap is made by a local woman who uses only the highest quality natural oils, butters, and botanicals with no animal fats, parabens, phthalates, or sulfates. The handcrafted bath soap, laundry soap, lotion bars, and lip balms offer simple everyday luxury.

Janet Hill is an artist from Canada, and I love her prints. They are whimsical and full of little details. You have to look closely because you never know what quirky character you might find hiding in a corner.

Jellycats stuffed animals are soft, cuddly, and a favorite find for kids. We offer an extensive selection from stuffed strawberries to stuffed aardvarks. They are not local, but they are unexpected and unique. They have a quirkiness, which always makes them stand out from the crowd - kind of like our store.

Debbie McCormac has an excellent instinct for superb decoration and design. Since Moonbeams opened in 2002, she has invested her time and talent to find eclectic, unusual gifts and home decor for the store. In 2019, Debbie and her business partner Susie Hartman moved the store from Kirkwood to downtown Glendale. Stop in and shop locally at 421 N. Sappington Road.
