Have you ever wondered what building sustainably might look like? There’s more to it than covering the building in solar panels and using responsibly forested wood. In today’s construction world, there are many ways that contribute to saving energy, repurposing existing materials, and improving the environment. NAMVAR Construction Company delivers with these means and methods.
We completed a project from the ground up, featuring sustainable methods from LED lighting to white TPO roofing. White TPO roofing reflects the rays from the sun, allowing the internal temperature to remain cooler in the summer months. The insulation that this roofing provides creates a robust insulation system. The white TPO roofing was installed on top of the existing roof for energy conservation. This project also included a natural gas clean energy generator for their emergency needs.
Now underway is a project that includes insulated metal panel walls and a water quality bio retention pond. This retention pond will clean stormwater runoff from the building. Once cleaned, the water will return to the earth with less contaminates and improve the surrounding environment.
Unlike new construction, renovation work can require a little more creativity. For our design assist project of repositioning a retail asset, we used a sand blasting technique to strip away layers of paint revealing the original brick and mortar. This technique also allowed us to uncover the natural beauty of the timber beams. This method uses recycled glass to chip away the surface of existing materials.
We are a small business with big ideas. We have experience to adapt and move forward with eco-friendly construction in ever changing markets. https://www.namvarconstruction.com/
