Nashville’s Wine Country

Arrington Vineyards Yields Charming Ambiance, Exceptional Wines, Tight-Knit Fan Community

Nestled on 90 acres amidst the picturesque rolling hills of Williamson County lies Arrington Vineyards, a haven for guests seeking an exquisite blend of fine wine craftsmanship, natural beauty, and live music.

Arrington Vineyards winemaker Kip Summers says he and two co-partners--country music artist Kix Brooks and entrepreneur John Russell--meticulously transformed a rural farm into Williamson County’s first winery. "Through our combined dedication, business experience and passion, we cultivated an award-winning winery that quickly grew and has evolved into one of Tennessee’s most visited and widely known destinations, for tourists and locals alike," he adds.

Kip, who recalls that they originally were inspired by the allure of creating the ideal wine experience, says the primary characteristic that sets Arrington Vineyards apart from other wineries is their unique “wine country atmosphere" that’s infused with the sensational spirit of the Music City.

Arrington Vineyards is located at 6211 Patton Road in Arrington, a handy 35 minutes from downtown Nashville at GPS Coordinates 35.84181, -86.69564.

Not long after opening, the team made their mark on producing award-winning wines when their 2004 Syrah won “Best of Show” at the 2007 Wines of the South Wine Competition. Since that first year, they've amassed 300-plus medals at various international commercial wine competitions.

"From our winery's rustic yet elegant Tasting Lodge, to our refurbished 80-year-old barn, guests can savor our wines in several different and unique settings. Our expansive outdoor seating areas and stunning vineyard views allow visitors to immerse themselves in a tranquil wine country setting," Kip explains.

Additionally, every weekend through October, the winery staff offers live jazz quartets playing on the eastern hillside above the grapevines while live bluegrass bands perform at their Grand Barn on the west side of the winery grounds.

Live music scheduled for July is The Lilliston Effect & Bluegrass; Grasstime Band; Reed Pittman Band; Craig Duncan Band; 9 Volt Romeo; Andrew Carney and the Essentials; Reed Pittman Band; Down River Collective; Craig Morris & King Cotton Band; Josh Karas Trio; Art Four Sale Band

Each Friday, the winery staff hosts "Food Truck Fridays." Plus, for picnics, guests can order meals through Simply Living Life, a Brentwood-based gourmet food provider. Those ordered picnic baskets will be waiting at the winery upon arrival, complete with wine glasses, cloth napkins, dinnerware and a tablecloth. To keep the wine flowing after one has left the vineyards, Arrington offers Kix's Wine Club through which members receive bottles of the winery's award-winning wines four times a year in March, May, September and November. Club members also receive other benefits, such as discounts on wines and merchandise, access to exclusive, member-only wines, preferred pricing on wine tasting experiences and complimentary shipping on 12 bottles or more. There's no fee to join the club and their wines can be shipped to 38 states.

AV merchandise includes branded apparel, home goods, hats, unique wine glasses and corkscrews.

The winery presently has eight distinct wine collections, covering a wide range of styles from dry to sweet, including reds, whites and rosés. Overall, they sell 23 different types of wine, including four different types of sparkling wine. On-site they also sell wine flights and two flavors of “Frosés” (frozen rosé wine slushies).

"Arrington is a destination that encapsulates the spirit of Music City with the elegant ambiance of wine country. Our commitment to excellence, and dedication to providing an extraordinary experience, make us a standout in the wine world," says John. "Whether you're exploring the vineyards, indulging in a tasting flight, or simply relishing the breathtaking views, Arrington Vineyards promises to leave a delightful lasting impression on your heart and palate."
