Nazli’s Summer Playlist

Family law attorney Nazli Sater tells us how she gets in the summer mood.

To many people, Nazli Sater is the light at the end of the tunnel. As a partner and family law attorney with Grand Rapids-based Warner Norcross + Judd, Sater helms the firm’s Bloomfield Hills location, celebrating its one-year anniversary this month.

“Before joining Warner is 2011, I had wanted to start my own small boutique firm,” Sater says. “But I was so impressed with how the partners I met actually liked and respected each other — I wanted to be a part of it.”

Sater works with families and couples in estate planning, prenuptial agreements and resolving family issues.

“We help families navigate through every aspect — emotional, financial, keeping children our priority,” she says. “My goal is working with kindness and empathy — and working through the process in the most amicable and honorable way possible.”

As such a positive influence in the lives of so many people, we wanted to know what else, besides her work, gives Sater joy. Among many passions, the multi-linguist (she was born in Egypt, where French is a second language) has a love for music — a wide variety of music ranging from country to French, Spanish, Arabic and Italian and a good dose of pop. Here are a few favorites that give her a summertime vibe.
