Need New Frames?

Dr. Gay and the staff at Acuity Optics can take care of your eyecare needs.

Located in Commerce Township, Acuity Optics is dedicated to enhancing patients’ day-to-day lives by preserving and enhancing their vision. Additionally, Dr. Edwin Gay, OD and the Acuity Optics staff work to keep patients’ eyes healthy through monitoring and/or treating eye conditions, such as glaucoma, diabetes, dry eye, infections, macular degeneration and more.

Dr. Gay conducts thorough exams during longer appointment slots, allowing patients (including children) to receive both an in-depth assessment of their eye health and an accurate prescription. Prescriptions are valid for one year after the exam, and although many patients will select frames after their exam, they do have the option to visit the office any time during hours of operation to make a frame selection within that year. Similarly, customers may visit Acuity Optics with a prescription from another optical, and the staff will graciously assist them in their glasses selection process.

Acuity Optics, located at 3050 Union Lake Rd. (Suite 3B) in Commerce Township, strives to provide great customer service and optimal care to patients. They offer soft contacts, hard contacts, sunglasses and, of course, prescription glasses. For more information or to make an appointment, call (248)-360-4300 or visit acuityoptics.com.

Dr. Gay and the Acuity Optics staff have taken necessary precautions to keep patients and themselves safe. Frames are included in this cleaning process: frames available on the store floor are sterilized, and those that are handled or selected by patients or staff are removed until they are sanitized.
