Adnan and Umbreen Shafeeq and their family became the owners of Five Parks Wine and Spirits at The Square at Five Parks on December 1. Adnan's family previously owned Five Star Liquors off 64th and Wadsworth in Arvada. Adnan has a long history in the business and understands the needs of the community. He also actively helped his brother-in-law with his liquor store, Fizzies Wine and Spirits in Wichita, Kansas, so he has considerable experience in the industry.
“My family has a long history in Arvada,” says Adnan. “We're here for Arvada, for the community, and it was a blessing to know we'd be coming back to being business owners in the community again.”
Adnan says they strive to be knowledgeable and to help guide their customers to the best choices for them while offering great customer service. They're looking forward to serving the community for years to come.
