Through personal and professional experiences, Luminous Glow Med Spa owner Jennifer Buck has learned that proper skin care can make a world of difference in someone’s life.
“As an esthetician, I see women with bad self-esteem because of acne, scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, or pigments,” shared Buck. “Women are so hard on themselves, and it's crazy because they're so beautiful. I’m in this industry to help women feel more confident and understand their unique beauty.”
Luminous Glow Med Spa offers a wide spectrum of services, including facials, nano infusions, laser hair reduction, cosmetic injections and more. Buck, who carries the highest certification available as a Licensed Laser Professional, and her team develop customized skin care plans with advanced skin care techniques.
“We do treatments that are progressive, starting with things that are least invasive and moving through treatments to target whatever issues need addressing,” she explained. “Because of this approach, most of our procedures don't have any real downtime.”
Buck stresses maintaining healthy skin through regular facials and the use of medical-grade skin care products that have high-quality ingredients so the skin can absorb them properly.
She recently founded the Academy of Aesthetics and Laser to train new estheticians and help them adhere to the correct and ethical way of taking care of a client’s skin. Buck is keeping classes small so that students receive individualized attention.
“I want to help students graduate and have the knowledge to do all of the services that an esthetician can do, not just waxing and a basic facial, but actually performing peels, nano infusions and learning proper facial massage and techniques,” she said.
