No Ordinary Parade

Adventure Awaits at the St. George Area Parade of Homes

The 2022 St. George Area Parade of Homes is no ordinary parade. With the theme “Bringing Dreams to Life,” it is the largest home parade in the state featuring 28 new homes full of extraordinary elements, with plans to accommodate over 35,000 visitors.

This event has a tradition of displaying a variety of spectacular homes and introducing exciting new trends to attendees across the state, with homes set among breathtaking landscapes only found in southern Utah.

According to Mari Krashowetz, executive officer for the Southern Utah Home Builders Association, the 2022 parade incorporates the best in design and homebuilding technologies. “There is something for everyone during Utah’s premier home event,” say Mari.

Highlights for the 2022 parade:

·        Most expensive home - $6 million

·        Least expensive home - $489,900

·        Largest home – 17,300 square feet

·        Smallest home – 1,681 square feet

The 17,300 square foot home features a Roman-groined vault corridor leading to a master retreat, underground 8-car parking garage, interior slide, an elevator and a 2-story indoor sports court.

Another home offers an array of outdoor amenities: stargazing platforms, putting green, sports court, outdoor kitchen and a pool/spa.

A parade home, “Joy” is a tribute to Garret Bangerter’s mother and describes the joy Garret and his son Brandon felt in building homes for southern Utah families for over 27 years. Both Garret and Brandon were killed in an accident in 2021.

Mari says there is added value to a ticket price that includes state-of-the-art virtual tours, which will be available during the event and for 30 days after the show.

Show dates: Feb. 18-27, 2022
