Nobu Hotel and Restaurant

Offering Atlanta global excellence in the heart of Buckhead

It is becoming harder and harder to keep up with all of the changes in Atlanta, after all, we are the fastest growing, most globally relevant city in the South. So, when it was announced that Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro and Meir Teper had selected Phipps Plaza to be the location for the newest crown jewel in the Nobu restaurant and hotel empire, I was not surprised. A harbinger of all things luxurious, Nobu Hotel Atlanta is a welcome addition to our fair city. Bringing their signature sleek design, understated elegance, grace, and style to bear in every aspect of hospitality, Nobu Hotel Atlanta has raised the bar in Buckhead!

Whether you are dining at the internationally lauded Nobu Restaurant or you have the privilege to call the Nobu Hotel home for your visit or staycation; you are in for a world-class experience with a Southern flair. From the moment you arrive at Nobu Atlanta, you know it is something very special.

There is a restful peace and sense of welcome that you feel as you cross the threshold into the austere lobby, seemingly surrendering itself to each guest. Lush teak paneling and a massive raw rock walk soften as light floods the lobby, illuminating the reception desk and conversational seating areas. Immediately your eye is drawn to the oversized door at the far end of the lobby. It is the door to Nobu Restaurant.

Nobu Hotel Atlanta boasts 152 artfully designed suites and guest rooms featuring a refreshingly minimalist, Japanese-inspired décor that embraces each guest with a feeling of peaceful relaxation. Warm neutral tones, deep wood paneling, and textured walls are met with expansive windows allowing guests to feel completely at home while enjoying the Atlanta cityscape. Japanese-inspired floral arrangements bring a pop of color into each uniquely designed and well-appointed room. The sleek, modern feel of the hotel is extended to the rooftop pool, bar, and lounge. It is a not-to-miss feature of the hotel and truly something to experience.

Nobu Restaurant, known for its celebrated approach to Peruvian-influenced Japanese cuisine, offers classic menu items such as Black Cod Miso as well as signature dishes peppered with local culture and cuisine. There is an impressive wine, sake, and cocktail menu that not only features Nobu Champagne but many Atlanta-exclusive cocktails with local flavors. Any bite at Nobu is a seemingly endless parade of sensational flavors and the finest ingredients the world has to offer. Each bite and each plate is a work of art. No element of service and fine dining is overlooked. The attention to detail given in every aspect of service by the superbly talented staff is world-class. Nobu is the marriage of culinary perfection, the highest levels of service, and incredible guest experience.

In what can only be described as a perfect alignment between two equally iconic global brands, Nobu Hotel Atlanta and Porsche Cars North America have teamed up to deliver a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The bespoke Porsche Icon Suite offers the finest amenities as well as Porsche-inspired art, décor, and memorabilia. The luxurious two-night experience in the Porsche Icon Suite includes a chef-driven omakase tasting menu at Nobu Restaurant, breakfast, personally embroidered Porsche robes that you take with you when you check out, and a welcome bottle of Nobu Champagne in the suite. Guests of the experience can even take a ride in an all-electric chauffeur-driven Porsche Taycan.

I first dined at Nobu many years ago in Los Angeles. As a young chef who had recently moved to Los Angeles, I was enamored by the quality of the ingredients, the incredible flavors, and the attention given to every bite. I was excited to visit an old friend in a new location. It was as magical today as it was for me all those years ago.

"The Roasted Baby Corn Honey Truffle appetizer was probably the best corn that I have ever eaten. The entire dining experience from appetizers to dessert was perfectly executed. I was delighted by my dining experience at Nobu Restaurant Atlanta."
