Community, leadership, and volunteerism are at the heart of the Junior League of Collin County (JLCC). Since 1976, JLCC, formerly known as the Junior League of Plano, has served the Collin County community as an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

“Without our nearly 1,000 motivated members, we would not be able to have such an impactful presence in Collin County,” said Junior League of Collin County President Renée Gately. “Last year alone, we gave over 15,000 volunteer hours to our community. I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve with the strong, talented, and dedicated women who make up our organization.”

What makes JLCC volunteers unique? These are women who receive extensive training and then develop the skills necessary to handle critical issues and leave lasting, positive change in the community.

JLCC boasts an unwavering commitment to inclusive environments of diverse individuals, organizations, and communities—and welcomes all women who value its Mission. The women of JLCC create innovative programs in partnership with local nonprofits that have a profound impact within the community. These programs address some of Collin County’s most critical issues, including family violence, economic insecurity, literacy, life skills for at-risk youth, therapeutic assistance for children, and more.

From JLCC’s annual Bingo Night to its Spring Soirée to hosting ‘Neath the Wreath—the largest holiday market in DFW—JLCC’s commitment to fundraising and giving back to the Collin County community is unparalleled and at the forefront of the organization.

Businesses can support JLCC’s programs and initiatives via multiple options, including sponsoring an event, attending an event, or in-kind donations. For more info on JLCC, visit jlcollincounty.org.
