Hair, It’s a Soul Thing

Merging style with deep healing, Raven Feurer, transforming clients from the inside out.

"Transformation is much more than skin deep. It encompasses mind, soul, and body.” These are the reverberating words of Raven Feurer— the life force, owner, and visionary behind the three-time award-winning salon, 5D Salon and Sound Space.

One step inside and you know exactly what she’s talking about. As a stylist who didn’t want to “just do hair,” but "truly help people become their best selves from the inside out,” Raven has done just that.

From crystal-infused hair products to the porcelain washbowls and symbolic hummingbird mural, the air is filled with nurturing vibes enhanced by soothing music and aromatherapy—all to support your deepest healing and elevation.

Why? Because Raven’s mission expands far beyond giving you a fresh look.

"We explore what version of yourself you want to be," she explains, "and then we help you look and FEEL that way.”

Recently invited to New York Fashion Week, she and her team of holistic stylists are onto something.

It all began 25 years ago. After graduating, Raven discovered what her clients needed was much deeper than a cut and color.

“I was a young person and these women would unload on me the challenges of their life and what it's like to be them, and I honestly had no tools to support anything other than, ‘Do you want bangs or not?’”

But these would be the very interactions that would eventually catalyze her own introspection and spiritual journey.

“I went to Peru to Costa Rica. I started learning about sound, meditation, yoga… and that allowed me to have more space.”

When she returned, she brought with her healing modalities and a deep desire to serve the community on a more profound level.

Now clients shed old patterns, embrace their authentic selves, and step into the boundless potential of who they can become.

Some of these processes include chopping off hair with her blessed scissors from Peru to release old chapters. Other times it’s saging with Palo Santo, but always about getting to the bottom of how the client wants to look and feel and WHY.

If any deeper healing is needed, clients are invited to return for an inner-work session in the 5D Sound Space adjacent to the salon—in a safe environment that restores the nervous system. The sessions include breathwork, sound therapy (now backed by science), and restorative yoga.

But the commitment to growth and holistic well-being doesn’t stop there. It’s extended to the stylists, who are not only skilled hair technicians but compassionate listeners trained to hold space for their clients' emotional journeys. And for Raven, it’s non-negotiable that her stylists are fully supported in their own self-development and financial success.

When reflecting on the major client breakthroughs and life changes the salon has witnessed, Raven says "I just feel like it’s a privilege and honor to be part of their journey, and they trust me.”

As far as style is concerned, she’s serving, “sophistication with a rebellious flair”–attracting clients who seek more than just a new look.
