What’s your recipe: for earning trust in an industry where relationships matter most? "Just one ingredient, treat people right. I’m not interested in simply selling someone a vehicle, I want to sell them every vehicle. I want to sell their friends, family, and children vehicles. If you care about a car deal, that’s all you’ll get. When you genuinely care about a person, that’s when you see generations of people coming back because they know they’ll be treated right and viewed as a person instead of a transaction. I love getting to talk to customers in our showroom who continue to come back because this is where their parents and grandparents bought vehicles and they’ll never go anywhere else because we’ve taken the time to get to know them and build a relationship with them. "
What’s your recipe: for giving back to the community that has supported your business for generations? "A few years ago I was given the acronym of LIFE on how you can serve people around you; it stands for Labor, Influence, Finances, and Expertise. These are the ways we want to give back to our community, and we bring as many people as possible that are in our organization along with us. We’re called to serve and called to improve the lives of others, and I can’t think of a better community worth serving."

What’s your recipe: for maintaining a high level of integrity across all of your teams and company? "Customer first, employees second, and profits last. If you take care of the first wo, they will ensure the third."
What’s your recipe: for leading people in an industry built on hard work and reliability?
"Pride—take pride in what you do. If you are proud of it, your customer will be too. Respect—treat the customer the way you would expect to be treated. Communication—make the call, send the text/email. In today's world there is no excuse for your customer to wonder what is going on with their project. Give them the peace of mind to stay informed. Accountability—nobody is perfect but problems do not fix themselves. Take responsibility, tend to the customers concern and fix it to a standard you would expect. Simple as that."

What’s your recipe for creating a strong brand that resonates with customers?
My recipe is consistency, culture, and clarity. A strong brand is not just a logo or a color scheme, it is how people feel every time they interact with you. For HUGOS, that means clean presentation, high standards, a strong team culture, and making sure every client feels like they are part of something bigger than just a haircut.
What’s your recipe for building loyalty in a relationship-driven business?
Trust is the main ingredient. You build loyalty by showing up the same way every time, remembering the details, being honest, and making people feel valued. In a relationship driven business, people do not just come back for the service, they come back because of how you treat them.
Brian Seifried, President & Founder, Centennial Hospitality Group
What's your recipe for managing the demands of rapid growth? "Team first, always. Growth will expose every weakness in your organization, so the only way to outpace it is to have people around you who are better at their jobs than you are. We hire for values and determination before we hire for skill. Skills can be taught. Determination and alignment with what you stand for, you either have that or you don't."
