Luxury travel advisor Holly Malloy is an expert in her field. She specializes in finding what’s unique—close to home or across the globe—then crafting tailor-made vacations centered exclusively around her clients’ needs, all designed to make their dream vacations a one-of-a-kind experience. While the travel business is certainly easier said than done, Malloy says she loves the challenge presented by her work. She also adores her clients. “I am a hard-working, selfless individual who wants nothing but the best for my clients,” Malloy says. “I will do everything to ensure their experience is a memorable one.”

How does she differentiate her company, All the Places Travel, from others?  “I treat each trip as if it is my own,” she explains. “I’m with my clients from the start of their dream vacation to the time they arrive back home.” Malloy describes her company, which she started in 2019, as dedicated to white-glove service: “Not only will I take the burden of planning off clients’ shoulders, but I’ll also be there with you on every step of your memorable journey.”

As a seasoned travel veteran, Malloy also knows the right questions to ask in the planning process to make journeys go as smoothly as possible. “After the initial planning is finalized, I make certain to be tuned-in to all applicable travel guidelines, including VISA and COVID-entry requirements for the different countries,” she says.

And someone with her experience brings a deep well of destination knowledge to the table. Does she have favorites? What about popular places for Park Cities residents—a significant part of her client base—that are quick and easy? “This is where my job as a travel agent comes into play,” she says, explaining how her 15 years as a corporate flight attendant traveling the world contributes to her special insights. “With luxury clients, we have access to private jets, where any destination is easy to get to, or at least with minimal hassle. There are also some incredible luxury ranches in Texas that will allow for a quick getaway for spa treatments, golf, and even hunting/shooting excursions.”

Malloy adds that other popular destinations include the Virgin Islands and areas throughout Europe including Croatia, Greece, and Italy. “River cruises in Europe are widely popular because you have the ability to tour the countryside in a more intimate fashion than cruising on the ocean,” she says. And expedition cruising is also becoming more popular. “I just returned from a trip from Africa with Abercrombie and Kent, one of our top vendors,” Malloy says. “That was the trip of a lifetime.”

Travel in the United States or Canada is also always a hit, including Malloy’s popular “train trips.” The Rocky Mountaineer is a wonderful example where the “majesty of the Rockies meets the comfort of luxury train travel.” As for summer travel tips and beyond, Malloy is brimming with innovative ideas: domestically, there is the Maine Lobster Festival beginning July 29 and the US Open in Massachusetts from June 13-21.

Beyond destinations, Malloy says one of her most important tips is “to be aware of the the ever-changing COVID rules and regulations for travel requirements; and insurance is a must.” Around the world, she mentions a number of additional exciting destinations including Japan’s annual Cherry Blossom Festival in March and April; the Henley Royal Regatta in England from late June to early July; the British Open in July at St. Andrews in Scotland; the “Big 5” Migration in Kenya in July and August; the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Edinburg International Festival in Scotland in August, which hosts theater companies from around the world; and the FIFA World Cup in Qatar beginning November 21.

In the end, Malloy views travel as a necessity, especially as the pandemic has impacted lives for two-plus years now. “I think everyone can agree that travel is essential for our health and well-being,” she says.  “I have made my mission at All the Places Travel to work closely with clients who are seeking customized, luxury vacations while staying diligently mindful of all COVID issues.”

Malloy’s long-standing partnership with clients is at the heart of her success. “To help them enjoy time with families and loved ones as they experience the world’s top-ranked destinations,” she says, “for me, that’s the greatest reward of all.”
