Greg Larson, VP and Managing Partner of Sill-Terhar Motors, believes that generosity is one of the most important traits a person can have. “At some point in everyone’s life, the pure joy of giving becomes far more important than the joy of getting. I feel that philanthropy and contribution to your local community is vital to create purpose in each of our lives.”

Because of this, Sill-Terhar proudly supports Broomfield Community Foundation (BCF) through annual contributions, supporting events and working with the board to collaborate ideas for sponsorship and fiscal giving. Not only is Sill-Terhar a Business Impact Partner, but Greg was also an Original Foundation Endowment Contributor. “I choose to take a positive stance on being involved to do our part for support of those in need.”

Greg believes that spending contribution dollars locally spreads cheer and pride in what Broomfield is all about. “Broomfield Community Foundation reinvests in people and businesses that make up the fabric of ‘buy local.’ BCF also provides a transparent way of utilizing donor’s contributions. You are kept informed of how they distribute money, and this builds confidence. It is also very fulfilling to know my money is spent and reinvested right here in the place where I grew up.”

In fact, Greg's daughter Nicole Larson was the recipient of the first Family College Scholarship in 2016. Greg is very grateful for the opportunity for Sill-Terhar Motors to be a Business Impact Partner. “I appreciate the fellowship and support from everyone who is involved in BCF.”

Why iGIVE365

“Jeanie and I have both lived in Broomfield for almost 60 years, growing up in the first filing. God has blessed us in our lives and we want to help others who face everyday challenges in their lives.

Hopefully, we can help make their lives a little better and, in the process, also help our hometown of Broomfield—already a great place to live—become an even better place to live. We believe strongly that iGIVE365 provides a great way to help make that happen on a consistent and recurring basis!"
