Bake until almost done and then add the vegetables. As those soften, you can enjoy the mouth-watering smells wafting from your kitchen.
Fresh vegetables create a mouthwatering stew ready to be heated in a slow cooker. For those vegetarians or healthy eaters, this dish is easy and requires no constant stirring or watching the clock. Use veggies that can be thoroughly washed, perhaps peeled (or not) and added to broth to later enjoy a warm, crispy or soft mix of your favorite ingredients with a crusty artisan slice of bread.
