Peace of mind is priceless. When your loved one joins the Park Vista Health Center family, rest assured that not only are they receiving top-of-the-line treatment and impeccable care—they’re also having the time of their lives.
Nestled comfortably amongst rolling hills and lushly landscaped grounds in Orange County, Park Vista Health Center is a premier senior care provider that goes beyond multi-levels of care like skilled nursing, rehabilitation, assisted living, and memory care. Park Vista also offers an engaging, vibrant sense of community, ensuring your loved one lives the next chapter of their life to the fullest through their Life Enrichment programs.
According to Haidy Andrawes, Nursing Home Administrator at Park Vista, “Life enrichment programs are the plans and activities offered at a community that support residents’ physical, social, emotional, and cognitive well-being.”
“In addition to fostering personal growth and creativity, these programs are designed to keep seniors engaged and active in the community. Although they might seem like perks, they’re much more than that. Having activities that suit your loved one’s lifestyle and interests is essential to their overall quality of life,” she says.
At Park Vista, the exceptional team places great importance on treating those in their care with the utmost respect and compassion—a duty they consider a privilege to have offered for more than 20 years.
“We draw our inspiration from the need to provide quality of care to those that matter the most to us,” says Haidy.
“Park Vista was developed by a group of business professionals, some of whom were physicians, and the idea of providing the type of care they would want for themselves is how we came about.”
With the new year officially underway, Park Vista has its sights set on taking things to the next level to ensure its residents have every opportunity to thrive and flourish.
“Our goals include continuing to improve on ways to support our residents in their creative pursuits,” says Kerry Whelan, Life Enrichment Director at Park Vista. “Our social calendars include more local outings to the Sunday farmers markets, museums, shopping centers, parks, and even partnering with local elementary schools. In addition, we have scheduled four Hallmark Dinners, which are themed according to the month, with live, local entertainment. Families are invited to join and enjoy their loved ones, tasting food prepared by our culinary team.”
The caring, compassionate team at Park Vista understands that strengthening those connections is pivotal in keeping the emotional and physical well-being of their residents in tip-top shape.
“Strong relationships are important at any age. Studies show that feeling connected to others can reduce stress and anxiety, lower the risk of depression, and lead to a longer life,” says Haidy. “Our goal at Park Vista is to support our residents, and even their families, in maintaining connections, creating more memories together, and being happy in our community.”
The steadfast dedication to providing their residents with a warm, welcoming environment in which to spend the twilight of their lives is evident to all who walk through the doors at Park Vista.
The facility, which is open to the general public and sits adjacent to Morningside Retirement, has a 5-Star Rating from the Centers for Medicare. Their Skilled Nursing team was awarded Best Nursing Home for both Short-Term Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care by US News & World Report for 2021-2023.
Additionally, their Assisted Living was rated top 3 in Fullerton by Three Best Rated, and the whole Park Vista Health Center is proud to be certified and recognized for a 4th year in a row as a "Great Place to Work.”
