Reforming Farmington’s Fitness Industry

When Page Pilates opened its doors in Festus on July 7, 2025, it wasn’t simply the launch of a new fitness studio—it was the start of something deeply personal, intentional, and community-centered. For founder Danielle Page, Pilates had served as a bridge back to herself. After welcoming her second child, she found her body feeling foreign—exhausted, disconnected, and out of alignment. She began taking Reformer Pilates classes in Sunset Hills, and what started as a way to regain strength, quietly shifted into something more meaningful. The practice gave her space to breathe again. It offered movement that was gentle yet challenging, restorative yet invigorating. Most importantly, it reminded her that feeling at home in her own body was possible.

That moment of rediscovery changed everything. After spending many years teaching middle school, Danielle began to feel a pull toward something new; inspired to create a space where others could also experience the same renewal she had found. With training through STOTT and mixed-method schools, and accreditation through the National Pilates Certification Program, she stepped away from the classroom and into her next chapter: Page Pilates. A studio built to welcome every body, every season of life, and every level of ability.

From the beginning, Page Pilates has embraced an approach rooted in mindfulness, intention, and breathwork. Classes are centered around the Reformer, a machine that looks intimidating until you step onto it and realize it is one of the most supportive pieces of equipment you’ll ever use. The springs and straps allow clients to adjust resistance to what feels best for their bodies. Movements are low impact but deeply effective, strengthening the core, improving posture, enhancing mobility, and activating muscles that often go unnoticed. It is movement that encourages presence. It is strength that comes from alignment. And it is a practice that teaches people to move through the world with more awareness, more grace, and more control.

Inside the studio, everything is designed to feel accessible. Classes are intentionally capped at eight clients so instructors can offer personalized guidance, modifications, and support. The moment someone walks through the door, whether it’s their first class or their fiftieth, the staff welcomes them by name. New clients meet their instructor, share any injuries or concerns, learn the basics of the equipment, and begin class laying down, starting with intentional breathing. That first inhale sets the tone for the class ahead: mindful, grounded, and focused. From there, stretches warm the body, footwork anchors the practice, and a thoughtful flow unfolds over the next 50 minutes—strengthening, lengthening, and reconnecting from the inside out.

For Danielle, one of the most rewarding parts of this work has been watching her clients transform. Clients walk in nervous, yet curious, but they leave stronger, and more confident. Many begin to adopt healthier habits outside the studio, feeling inspired to move with more intention in their daily lives. Pilates becomes more than a workout. It becomes a lifestyle—one rooted in longevity, mobility, and the belief that aging can be both strong and graceful.

As the Festus studio quickly became a local favorite, the demand for more classes began to grow. With seven instructors, four front desk team members, and an atmosphere built on genuine inclusivity, it didn’t take long for Danielle to realize that Page Pilates was ready to expand its reach. In early 2026, Page Pilates will open its second location in Farmington, led by Danielle’s sister, Maggie Page. News of the second location spread like wildfire and has quickly become one of the most eagerly anticipated studio openings in the area. Farmington has already wrapped its arms around the brand with warmth and excitement, and the new space will bring all the pillars of the Festus experience: Reformer classes seven days a week, small groups, individualized support, and a team dedicated to meeting clients exactly where they are.

Farmington will begin with Reformer Pilates, with long-term plans to expand into additional modalities as the community grows. Seven more instructors are set to join the team, each carefully selected for their compassion, skill, and ability to create an uplifting environment. The sister’s goal is simple: deepen their roots, continue building genuine relationships, and offer an intuitive experience that helps people reconnect with themselves in a way that feels empowering yet sustainable.

Pilates is now one of the fastest-growing practices in the country. At a time when many workouts push people to the point of burnout, Pilates invites people to move with intention, and to strengthen their bodies while reducing their risk of injury. It teaches alignment, breath control, pelvic floor stability, and deep core engagement. It protects joints, reduces pain, and offers a path to long-term mobility. For countless individuals at Page Pilates, it has become a lifeline: a place to heal, rebuild, and rediscover confidence they didn’t know they had lost.

As Page Pilates prepares to open its doors in Farmington, the mission remains unchanged, and the message behind every class, every movement, and every interaction will be mirrored by their Festus location.

For anyone searching for a place to begin and a way to reconnect, you’ll find a community that empowers you to move boldly and breathe deeply, at Page Pilates. Here, movement becomes grounding, breath becomes clarity, and your body becomes a home you can trust again.

This studio isn’t about perfection; it’s about presence. It’s about honoring your body, listening to it, and learning to trust it. It’s about being surrounded by a team and a community who believe that strength is not just something you build in your muscles—it’s something you build in your life.
