Not only will it be engaging for your four-legged family members, but each of these experiences will also create a memorable experience for you. Whether you want something special for your pet to enjoy at home, a luxurious staycation with your furry friend, or a way to treat your pet to a day out, we have you covered! Here are five great suggestions on ways to pamper your pet.

Morning Squeeze

Locally owned Morning Squeeze has served breakfast and lunch in a groovy '70s and '80s retro backdrop since 2013. You can bring your pampered pooch with you to check out the dog-exclusive Tail Wagger menu. There are three locations—Tempe, Scottsdale, and Downtown Phoenix—that serve up breakfast, lunch, and brunch from their indoor-outdoor bars and patios. The Wagger menu includes four-legged favorites, such as the Chowhound bowl of scrambled eggs and diced chicken. Be sure to check out the made-in-house Doggie Biscuits. Morning Squeeze is open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. MorningSqueeze.com

etta

Etta, sister restaurant to upscale Maple & Ash, is an affordable neighborhood restaurant at Scottsdale Quarter serving up wood-fired food. Each month, etta hosts Pups on the Patio for dogs and their owners. Enjoy brunch with your dog and every pup receives a party tote with etta dog swag and a dog treat. Oh, and there’s something special for human family members as well—a complimentary Tito's cocktail.

For your human pleasure, choose any of the delicious etta brunch items, including Huevos Rancheros, Challah French Toast, a breakfast sandwich or burrito, a fire-roasted Wagyu French Dip or a hearth-fired Steak and Eggs. Of course, etta always serves great wood-fired pizzas, including the Elysian Tarte Flambee for brunch, featuring uplands cheese, bacon, onion, crème Fraîche, and egg.

The cost for Pups on the Patio is $10 per person—plus the cost of the brunch—and Tito's matches all ticket sales, with proceeds going to a local dog rescue. The next Pups on the Patio is Aug. 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. EttaRestaurant.com

Love Dog Republic

Love Dog Republic, established in 2020 as a luxury subscription box for dog-moms, is a passion project for local dog mom Laurie Stephens. Each box contains something for dogs and their moms, and Stephens uses the company to help raise funds and awareness for the animal rescue community. Unlike traditional subscription boxes for pets, this combines fun treats for your pets with something for the dog-moms who look forward to opening the box each quarter.

If you prepay for the year ($210), you automatically receive the Luxe box each quarter. Each one contains between six and eight items that range from electronics and spa items to toys and treats. You can also make a one-time purchase for $69.99.

The current box is the Summer Beachy Box, and it includes fun items such as a beach bag, reusable drink cup with straw, bath soak, and body lotion for dog-moms. Pets enjoy a bandana, hanky knot, doggie beach ball, doggie margarita toys (tequila, lime, and salt), and an organic doggo whale cookie. LoveDogRepublic.com
