The Peoria Police Citizens Academy Alumni or PPCAA (PPCAA-AZ.org) is a charitable 501(c)3 fundraising organization that supports the mission of the Peoria Police Department and the Peoria Police Citizens Academy.
The mission of the PPCAA is to foster and promote a partnership between the community, alumni, and the Peoria Police Department to help provide a safe and secure environment for police officers and the residents they serve and protect.
Who Can Join the PPCAA?
PPCAA volunteers are Peoria Police Citizens Academy graduates who are passionate about supporting our heroines and heroes in blue and promoting positive community relations.
To become a member of the PPCAA, you must be age 18 or over and a graduate of the Peoria Police Department's Citizens Academy.
How Does PPCAA Help the Police and the Community?
The organization also helps coordinate efforts among the PPCAA, the Peoria Police Department, and the community and pursues a wide range of resources, such as grants, contributions, and donations, to support these efforts.
Past donations have provided the Peoria Police Department with a bomb-sniffing dog, electronic bikes, gym equipment, a DUI simulator, and a drone.
