Set on the edge of a private peninsula in Punta Mita, Naviva, A Four Seasons Resort, has breathtaking ocean views and lush tropical foliage. A quick flight to Puerto Vallarta – Houston has several non-stop flights to choose from – and a 45-minute drive will land travelers in paradise. Naviva is ideal for couples seeking a secluded hideaway where self-care and recreation are the utmost priority.

Spread across 48 acres, the adults-only property opened in 2022, making it one of the newest resorts in the area. Guests are treated to an all-inclusive stay with meals and drinks included, and to ensure a relaxing stay, each guest receives one complimentary spa treatment and access to all of the resort's amenities.

Architecture, Design & Accommodations

One of the unique aspects of Naviva is its biophilic design, which connects humans with nature. Every aspect of the resort brings the outside in and highlights the natural beauty of Mexico. From natural timber bridges to tunnel-like walkways made of bamboo, guests should feel like they are one with nature.

Naviva boasts 15 luxury tents with canvas walls that can be rolled up or down. Each tent has panoramic coastal views, open-air living rooms, expansive decks, and private plunge pools. The interior of the tents is decorated with natural materials, many of which are made by local artisans.

Dining

The resort offers several dining opportunities, including its signature restaurant, Copal Cocina de Leña, terrace dining at Risco Terrace, private picnics in the jungle, in-tent dining, or casual poolside options at Selva Pool. Led by chef Sofia Mojica, Copal Cocina de Leña is a true delight, offering open-air dining and open-fire cooking. With no set menu, chef Mojica highlights local ingredients from farmers, fishermen, and ranchers.

Experiences

Many of the experiences at Naviva center around wellness. Guests can choose from spa treatments, native rituals, fitness opportunities including hiking and yoga, or cultural activities like cooking classes and spirit tastings.

Inspired by the native Ceiba tree, the resort's spa features private spa pods that are completely tucked away into nature. Emphasizing traditional Mexican rituals and practices, the restorative power of nature is the focal point of many of the spa's facials, massages, and body treatments.

The spa is a safe space to venture out of a typical spa experience. Adventurous guests can choose treatments like the Refuge Retreat, where they will be blindfolded throughout their body scrub, sound therapy, and mud massage before they are "reawakened" with a warm bath and Gemstone facial.

Guests can also choose to visit Naviva's House of Heat or Temazcal for a personalized wellness ceremony, which can focus on areas including gratitude and devotion. A rare opportunity, the temazcal takes place in an egg-shaped dome made of clay with a ceremonial fire pit with hot rocks infused with therapeutic herbs. fourseasons.com/naviva
