Although you’ll find a great selection of new golf carts to choose from, this family-owned and operated business specializes in refurbishing and custom golf cart builds. “We do have 50+ prebuilt carts out here to buy,” says Jay Eastmead, whose father, James, opened Mr. Golf Cart in 1987. “But our main thing from day one has been taking a used cart, tearing it down, and refurbishing it and building it to the specs the customer wants….basically built to order.”
Additionally, customers can bring in currently owned golf carts for repairs or upgrades, including after-market lithium battery packs. “Whether you bought it here or not – if you have a golf cart you want fixed, we’ll fix it,” says Jay. “If you’ve got a golf cart that needs a makeover or you want to jazz it up, we’ll do that too. We have the largest selection of carts, parts, and accessories in the state. We pride ourselves as having an extremely knowledgeable parts department and an extremely knowledgeable service department.”
The ultimate goal is customer satisfaction. Jay shares, “At Mr. Golf Carts, we want to build it the way you want it and try to get it in your price range with the accessories and options you want. We strive to have the best price, with the best warranties, and the best service. We try to do the best we can because we want you to be happy and come back.”
