Art Direct’s team fills the creative needs of anyone who walks through their door. Memorabilia, family keepsakes, and mementos are treated with the same care as if they were the team’s own.
“With over 1,000 framing options to choose from, the hardest part might be picking just one,” says Gallery Operations & Art Liaison Gio Martin. “Pair that with printing capabilities impressive enough to make even the Mona Lisa raise an eyebrow, and you’ve got a match made in style heaven.”
Seasoned collectors and first-time buyers alike are equipped with the tools to showcase their stories with flair.
One striking collection on display originates from Joshua Smith, an inmate at the New Mexico State Penitentiary. This includes a compelling piece crafted on a commissary napkin. All proceeds from his work go toward supporting his family. That emotional resonance drives the gallery’s approach.
“I have a soft spot for abstract expressionism—art that sparks conversation and stirs emotions without saying a word. There’s something captivating about pieces that let you see something new every time you look at them,” says Martin. “However, I enjoy seeing a diverse mix in the gallery because it reflects the broad spectrum of tastes and personalities in our community.”
It’s not just about what beautifully framed pieces go on your wall. It’s about what they mean to you.
“The legacy we hope Art Direct leaves is one of inclusivity, creativity, and genuine connection with our community,” says Martin. “We see our services shaping local visual culture by making art not only approachable, but an integral part of everyday life. Because art is a part of everyone’s life.”
