Planning With The Pros

Host Events Your Guests Will Never Forget

When people in the Nashville area want to host an amazing event, they know to call in the professionals. After all, there are many details that have to be coordinated in order for everyone to have a great time.

FADDS Events has talented event planners who can do this and more. Founded over 20 years ago by David Heimbach, FADDS is an offshoot of David’s entertainment enterprise. “I had the first party bus company in Nashville, and from there we morphed into a DJ service, and then the event planning business.”

“It’s a one-stop shop with a great reputation,” says David. “We know a lot of people and can get customers what they want, not just what they need, at any given time by partnering with a lot of other vendors in town.”

David hires those who are skilled in their respective duties and who will represent the company to the best of their abilities. “That’s
what makes our company click,” he says. Angela Mills is one of these employees. As the director of sales and marketing, she is often the first contact people have with FADDS Events.

“Sometimes customers are not sure what their vision is, so we have to present a vision for them, and sometimes that's the big challenge,” she says. “We use our expertise to figure out what they want.” It’s critical, says Angela, to know exactly what they're looking for budget-wise in order to stay within that budget.

The most popular and requested events are casino nights. “David is an entrepreneur who has built the inventory for our rentals,” she says. “He's so creative, and every game we rent has been built in-house.”  All the wooden yard games, such as Jenga, ladder toss and corn hole, are all made in-house as well.

FADDS also provides inflatables and carnival games, and no event is too big or too small. Last fall, they did a huge carnival at the Governor's Mansion, but have also provided backyard games for get-togethers at people’s homes. Corporate events are in demand too, and they can design a myriad of fun team-building activities for employees.

FADDS is also a family business. “I’ve been happily married for 27 years to Jodie and we have four kids, including triplets,” says David. “I had all of them working in the business at one time. They started when they were about 12 and went all the way through college.” One of the triplets, Mason, is still working alongside his dad as an event specialist. FaddsEvents.com
