Playing Matchmaker: Couples Bond in Their Own Ways

Let us craft a rendezvous just for you

Valentine’s Day evokes images of chocolates and hearts, cartoon cupids and Hallmark poetry. But behind the store-bought cards are real relationships with heartfelt original stories and histories. They say there is someone for everyone; each couple bonds in its own way. With that in mind, we have compiled some local Valentine’s Day date suggestions based on personality types, values and interests—let us help craft a rendezvous just for you.

For those who do not own a telescope, local library branches offer them for checkout. library.washco.utah.gov

For the more charitable among us, there is nothing better than giving to those in need. Volunteer opportunities abound, and for those who bond over the value of giving time, money and resources to those in need, teaming up to give back to the community is an incredibly affiliative, almost spiritual experience. By setting aside one’s own troubles, if only for a short time, it’s an excellent way to deepen any relationship. For community volunteer opportunities, contact Switchpoint Community Resource Center | switchpointcrc.org | 435-628-9310, ext. 109.
